Gillingham Town
Youth football club is situated in the heart
of the Blackmore Vale in North Dorset. We are run
entirely by willing volunteers and are affiliated
to the Dorset FA. We have also been awarded the
prestigous FA Charter Standard for excellence.
|
The club boasts fully qualified FA level coaches who are all CRB
checked and trained in first aid and we have a child protection and
welfare officer.
We have competitive teams across all our age ranges that play every
week in the Dorset Youth League and in mini football we also take part
in the Yeovil League. As a club renowned for coaching youngsters at our
old Mini-Gills we have now introduced the Saturday morning 'Skills For
Soccer' coaching sessions for our younger age groups.
Our home matches are played at Kington Magna Sports Ground situated
just outside Gillingham. This is a great setting for football and hours
of hard work has gone into creating some of the best playing surfaces
around the area as well as the changing facilities and floodlit
training area. Directions can be found
here,
please respect the
emergency services access by not obstructing it with your vehicle.
All our teams have their own respective web pages on this site and
contributions for each age group are the sole responsibility of someone
within that group whether it's the manager, coach, player or
parent.
